Hi Shirley – What a great learning opportunity for our students! I’m so glad that you found this great engaging way for students to learn critical social networking skills while they communicate with other kids from around the world. I sure wish there was something like this going on in my sixth grade humanities class!

This is a great way to make things interesting and educational at th same time. When I was in the 6th grade I hadn’t even started playing around with a typewriter. The ability to use the tools available are a very necessary tool for the students of today and the leaders of tomorrow. Keep up the good work I wish you and all the students involved the best of everything.

    Hi Shirley,
Let me begin by thanking you for adding us to your blog roll. Since I am new at blogging and student challenge its been a challenge to include some of the tasks during school hours. I like the way you have included the challenge in the blog and suggested links for students to design their avatars.
All the best for the rest of school year and the blog challenge.
