Pictures in blogs by Matt

Blogging Challenge #5

Creative Commons is an organization that gives people licenses to share their work without people having to worry about copyright infringement. If you use a image from Creative Commons you have to write a caption saying where you got the image and from whom. There are a lot of different websites where you can upload and share images without copyright. If somebody copyrights an image, song, video, book etc. and puts it online, then nobody else can use it unless you buy the license to the image, song, video etc. or get their permission.

Using pictures in blogs is a good way to show something you can’t explain and to just show something for fun. If you use a picture in a blog it should be from a Creative commons website so that you don’t commit copy right infringement. You can also use pictures in blogs to show somebody that is from a different country or state something around the area you live, or your family, or really anything. I think using pictures in blogs can be educational, informative, or a way of showing feelings.

I have chosen this picture of a wolf to illustrate this post…http://www.flickr.com/photos/fremlin/2384478345/

It is called Wolf and is by Robert Dewar

    Hey Matt,
That is a great post about the importance of adding images to your posts. You included resasons for adding images that I would have never thought of. Great post!

    Yo Matt,
I love your ideas of people posting pictures on blogs. I have the same ideas.
