F.D.R. Farm Visit by Grace

I loved when we went on the field trip to F.D.R’s tree farm because I liked learning when trees should be chopped down and how much money would be made when sold. We also learned about Roosevelt and how he was a tree farmer. Looking at salamanders was also very fun. I liked holding the salamanders and writing down the information about them. My favorite salamander that the group found was the spotted salamander. It was black with yellow spots and was shorter and fatter than the Redback salamander but they were very cute. Overall the field trip was very fun and I would love to go back there again. Thank you to Cathy and Suzanne for helping us learn so much.
