Bailey – by Grace
The sunset coated the California coast skies as Tommy Black picked up the tennis ball to throw to his dog, Bailey. Tommy loved his dog even more than he loved his parents. As Bailey came back with the tennis ball in her mouth a loud BANG sounded from the forest and Bailey collapsed dead. A hunter named Harry Olive had just mistaken Bailey for a deer and shot her. From that moment on, Tommy knew that he had to have revenge on Harry Olive.
15 years later
Lucy Olive sat in her living room waiting for her friends to arrive. Suddenly David and Kenny walked in. “Hi!” she said.
“Who’s this?” David asked spotting a photo of a dog and a boy with the word Bailey written on it in red crayon. Lucy had never seen it before. “I don’t know,” she said, feeling a chill over her. She abruptly threw it out.
A scratching at the cellar door startled them. It sounded like a dog. “What was that?” David asked.
“ I’m going to find out,” Kenny answered. There was a disturbing silence and then they heard a shriek coming from the cellar. Something darted passed the window to the woods.
“It’s Kenny!” David shouted and they ran to the woods. They shouted for Kenny but he never answered.
“ What’s going on!” Lucy said with a quivering lip.
She turned around and didn’t see David “ David! Kenny! Where are you?” she shouted. Just then a man came out of the bushes. He looked insane. “Who a-are y-you?” she said in a trembling voice. The man stepped closer to her and said, “I am Tommy Black. Your dad shot my dog when I was a boy and this is my revenge on him!” And with that he pulled out a blood stained knife.

Hi my name is also baylee.I thought that you descibed califonia really well because i’ve been to Califonia before and thats what the sunset looks like which was reall cool. I also thought that the way you wrote 15 years later in bold and in the last paragraph you wrote y-you thanks alot BYE!!!
