Once upon a time… wait this is not one of those stories. This is how it all started. Muriel and Rose were walking home from a party. “I still can’t believe you wore that long dress all night,” Rose said in a bewildered tone. “It’s a gift,” joked Muriel. “I never thought that old abandoned house could look even more creepy. I guess I’ve only seen it during the daytime. Now that it’s dark it’s even scarier.” exclaimed Muriel.
“ Well you know they say that there’s a witch that lives there and if you go on the property she will never let you leave.” “Hahaha very funny.” Muriel replied while staring at the house. Then they left without another word.
Back home the two girls sat down and ate goldfish crackers. “What do you want to do, other than eat,” said Muriel. “ I dare you to go to the old house and stick this fork in the ground so I know you were there and not just on the sidewalk in front.” Rose challenged. “ Consider it done,” said Muriel curtsying. They both laughed as they stood around the kitchen table.
As planned, later that night Muriel and Rose went to the old house. Rose stood and watched as Muriel went onto the property and stuck the kitchen utensil into the ground. “I’m fine.” said Muriel.” “Ok come on back lets go.” Muriel tried to leave but she couldn’t go, like something was holding her to the ground.
“I can’t!” Yelled Muriel. “Stop tricking me lets go!”
Then Muriel fell to the ground. Rose ran to help her. After a some time Muriel moved again. “Come on lets go. I think you fainted from fright. You stuck the fork through your dress so you couldn’t move.”
