I think that Twitter is a good tool to use in schools. I think this because it gives students a chance to find out different things that you could look up but you wouldn’t think of. It can also go from school to home or from school to work. It also gives classmates a chance to share their idea with the world and see what other kids have to say on those topics.

My Dreams For Students of 2013
My dreams as a student in the PDS M/S is to connect with other kids around the world to see the similarities and differences between us. I would also enjoy doing workshops that would both educate and help people around the world. I would like to do projects in school for education and fun. I would also like to use technology as much as possible because soon in the future we won’t be using paper and pencil to write, take notes, etc., we would use technology instead. In PDS we are kind to each other and there is no bullying and everyone is nice to each other. If someone was being bullied they would go to a teacher and they would be helped.
As a student in the world I would like to have my school use as much technology as we can. I would like to given the option to read any book of choice. I would want to work on a lot of school projects. Another thing is to learn about the world. If we were given homework I would want it to be not to much but not too little.
Phantom Tollbooth by Celia
In the book The Phantom Tollbooth one of the characters that I think I connect with is Milo because we are same in some ways. When Milo gets the package with the tollbooth inside he was surprised because he isn’t used to getting packages and the same thing happens to me. When he was in the Doldrums and he was being convinced to do thing by others it was different from me because most of the time I do things because I want to, not because other people want me to.
Throughout the book I’ve kind of connected with how Milo goes through this world that changes constantly making it more and more interesting because I want to find out what kind of place he’ll go next. If I had to switch places with Milo but I got to choose if I wanted to go alone or with somebody I would want to go with someone because it would be fun to have someone come along to share the adventure with.
On his adventure Milo meets some strange people and I’ve been in places like that like when me and my family went to Spain and everyone around me seemed strange and I if I could I would give Milo a piece of advice I would tell him that even though they seem strange they can still be friend because we are all the same in at least one way.

Book Talk by Celia

My Passions – Celia
I have many passions but I will only tell you about one. One of my biggest passions is soccer. I’ve been playing soccer for six years and I love playing and I play on my school team and on a club team.
One of the reasons that I love soccer so much is because when I was younger my mom would play soccer and I would watch her play. When I turn eighteen I want to try out for the women’s U.S world soccer team. Another is that I know that the more I play the better I’ll get. Two of my favorite players on the women’s U.S world soccer team are Hope Solo and Mia Hamm . She doesn’t play on the team any more but she was a really good player.
I hope that I get really good and that when I’m older I will make the team and never ever get sick of playing soccer.

Thank god your coming whenever he shows up he is wearing these clothes that are completely out of date and it’s ridiculous. We tried to get him to where something better but no. Our style is much better and he insulted me by saying that he thought that the clothes today were completely out of date. I cannot wait for you to get here.
