I think Jack is a hero in One For The Murphys. I believe he is a hero because he is a fire an and saves people. He also makes time to be with his family and do things with him. Another person I think is a hero is Carly, because she got her stepfather in jail. Then she took care of her “family.” I also think that Julie is a hero because she did the right thing with Michele Eric. She also saved Carley from her bad family. I think that she is good because she will pull everybody in, even if they have had a bad life. These are the characters I think are heroes in One For The Murphys.

I made an avatar named The Checkered Bandit because it just came to my mind, therefore I did it. I started off with an all green guy and it just went from there. I decided to change the colors a lot. I had to remake it more than once. That was really hard.
My Sweet Summer by Shane
My favorite part of summer was going to Nova Scotia. We took a ferry over the sea to get there. That was really fun. There was a casino and it also had restaurants and rooms you can stay in. When we landed in Yarmouth N.S., we had breakfast and then I had a giant nose bleed. When we left there we went up to Port Royal and stayed in a Bed and Breakfast; that was a different experience; it was really nice I had fun in there. then we walked around and saw all the ports. Next, we had a delicious meal of a lobster pizza with Alfredo sauce. I ate most of it, then we went to a cool graveyard tour.
The next day we went out to Halifax and got a hotel room in the heart of the city. Shortly after we went to a fort and I saw Nathan MacKinnon.
Then we went and had burgers, they were so good. then we went back to the hotel room. The next day a hurricane came through and drenched the town. good thing we left Port Royal, they got flooded. then after the storm passed over we left.
Scary Story – by Shane
It was a dark, stormy foggy night and I decided to take a walk over to my friend’s house when suddenly I fell into a big dark scary hole. I was in some sort of a catacomb with blood all over the walls. Then I heard creepy laughing. I followed the laughing and came up on a women all dressed in black. t looked like the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen with warts on her face and on her legs. She had red eyes and she looked white as a ghost.
The woman looked up at me with a grey face and said, “They’re coming!”
“Who,” I said.
“The catacomb guards, if they find you before you can get out, they will kill you.”
“How do I get out?” I asked.
She said, “The keys – you need to find two keys to unlock the door and get out.”
I said, “Thank you.” She just sat there and laughed and then I heard people coming.
She said, “Go, you must go.” Then I ran as fast as I could. I took the nearest turn and hid behind the wall. Then I listened. I heard screaming then nothing…
I heard dragging on the ground. I see them dragging the women on the ground. I saw that they have killed her. I felt sad but I dare not speak or they would hear me. I went to sleep on the cold damp floor. When I woke up, I went back to where I fell in and looked up. Still dark I thought to myself. But another day is still to come…
