Dreams for middle school – Ella

My dream for the PDS middle school is that the learning commons would have more comfy chairs and plants and things like that. The plants would be there for telling everyone to save the planet. Recycling too. Maybe have one class about recycling with the science teacher. Also that people should understand that it should be more quieter in the learning commons. When the classrooms off of it are trying to work, it can be very distracting. Another thing is that many kids at PDS have many talents, though some of them are not noticed.  I think that we should find them and everyone would be much happier. Also, another dream is that we could earn more money for more fun trips. I think that a lot of kids would like to explore the world more and see what is in it. It would help a lot with classes, actually seeing the thing that we were learning about. We could earn the money by having book, bake and even more kinds of sales. I am sure that if the grades would want to go on some really fun trips, would be happy to bring some money in. That is my dream for the PDS middle school.

My dream for Middle Schools all around the world is that there should be not bullying. It is a major problem in many schools, though the good thing is that many people are trying to stop it. It is not nice at all, though the big question everyone has is, ‘Why do it?’. Some people think that the bullier is trying to impress their friends or they just think it is fun. Teachers and Parents should talk to the person who is bullying someone and try to fix that. I myself had been bullied in my old school, and I know that it is not fun. I think that teachers should encourage more not to bully. This is very important to the world, so I think and should really be fixed everywhere.

My wish for our middle school would be to be more “social.” What I mean is that we go to classes, sometimes schedules are flipped and flopped, but we should have more freedom. Everything is planned, but we should pick our own schedule. Almost like when we have arts, we should work when and where we want to, and learn at our own pace. It’s not simple to fix, but it would be dazzling. Of course classes are fun and we learn lots, but I think we could have even more fun with learning. Not by telling jokes to make kids pay attention, but making what we are learning even more fun.

A dream for all middle schools all over the world is for all schools to be able to learn the same things and be able to share ideas with each other. We do that with other classes on Skype, its a really good idea and its fun. Also I wish for No Bullying. We somehow could create a system with other schools. That will hopefully lead bullying to an end. My last wish would be for all schools to have there own garden, where they could use all the food for people who need help and for our school lunches. It seems crazy but I wish it could happen.

My dreams for middle schools around the world – Joanna

Here are my dream for the world’s middle schools and ours:

That all of the classes are fun so no one will want to fall asleep, because school should be fun, since we are forced to go to it. It is not fair that teachers teaching really boring subjects don’t have fun projects. They should bring in fun projects and activities and games and more. It should be that way not just in lower school but in all of the other levels to. If certain classes got to do things that other classes didn’t that would be like giving candy to a couple of people and then saying that I don’t want to the give the rest away, sorry.

What I Want For Our Middle School And Kids Around The World In 2013

What I Want For Middle School In PDS

I wish school here could be even more evolved… Better tech, better everything, to make it like a School of The Future! Spinning chairs… touch screen computers in the tables… iPads for everyone… enough money for awesome trips, like to England… wouldn’t that be cool? BEST SCHOOL EVER!!! Now, all I need to do this is about………….. $5,000,000,000,000…. I have about $300, so that leaves me with $4,999,999,999,700 to go!

What I Want For All Students In The World

I wish every kid could be able to learn. Everyone deserves that privilege. I wish school in some places were fair, and that they were all nice to the kids going there. I wish that bullies, would not exist, that all children would be happy, and have friends. But of course, that is a very hard feet to complete, some would say it’s impossible. It’s not. It’s almost impossible, and that doesn’t mean it is impossible.

Dreams for PDS middle school and my personal dreams for 2013!

My dreams as a student in 2013

Some of my dreams as a student of 2013 are to. try a lot better in school as a student in every subject and also to try new things in a new year like, new tech or anything new. I would like to wonder what can happen by learning. Learning can become creating if you try hard. I have to work harder in Spanish and math also pay attention in EVERY subject. I wonder what can be created in a new year, 2013.  My biggest dream in school is to create something!

Dream for PDS middle school in 2013

My dream for PDS middle school is that more field trips or events so we can have more fun! That’s my dream for the PDS middle school. What’s yours? Together we can make any dream come true. Nothing’s impossible as long as you stay positive and true to yourself!

Dreams for 2013–Sam LQ

Recycling seems to be a problem in our school, and people don’t seem to be using the recycling bins correctly. When we were doing the recycling there were a lot of bottles with caps on them and there were also some things that just shouldn’t be in there. I think that we could fix this by putting posters around the school telling people what they can put in the recycling and what they can’t. Another wish of my wishes for the school is to get back into recycling.

My world wide wish is for better food in cafeterias. Food that doesn’t come frozen and pre-cooked, food that is good for you and tastes good, food that people actually want to eat. I do not know how this will be accomplished but I hope that it will happen. These are my dreams for the year of 2013 and beyond and I hope that they will be listened to.

Dreams for 2013 – Maddie

In 2013, I hope that the students engage in creative projects and get to collaborate with kids who live in other countries through Skype. Also, I think that students should have the opportunity to write about anything they want and make stories. I hope that students get to work in groups and also work independently. Working independently is good because you can learn a lot about yourself and not have to rely on others. Working in a group is very important because compromises and collaborating is a big part of life. All students should be open to a lot of choices like art, music, dance, sports and acting. Students should all be treated with equal respect. My dream is that students will enjoy classes, make new friends and learn something new everyday!

My dreams for middle schoolers in 2013 – Hannah

For the rest for the year I hope that we keep on learning by using fun tools, teaching each other and be kind and respectful. For teaching each other we can only teach what we’ve been taught, and by using fun interesting tools we can have the ability to find that information ourselves. We can learn anything we want and as much as we want to, which is opening the doors to teaching others to do the same. That can lead to enormous amount of good, spreading all over. Good is all that can come from helping others. Learning is a skill that we all do in a different way, and if you love to learn you will never stop learning.

Though we don’t have this problem here at PDS, my hope for any student is that they stop bullying others. Most people don’t realize it, but their actions could be hurting other students. If  you’re being hurt by someone then part of your job is to tell someone. Going to a teacher or parent can be hard, but sometimes you have to. If your feelings are being hurt, that can be worse than physically being hurt. Scars can heal faster than a broken heart. If you’re being bullied speak up and tell someone, if your bullying, stop and think, what are you getting out of it? The only thing I could see you getting out of it is losing a friend.

My dreams for Middle School Students – Lia

Students in Middle School:

I think one of the things that should be changed for middle school students is be homework. I think kids should start keeping track of homework more. Students always have excuses for forgetting to do their homework. Well I don’t think “my dog ate my homework” works anymore, so homework should just be something kids normally just remember. I for one, don’t believe in homework, but it’s something your teachers expect you to do, so why not just do it?

My dreams for students in 2013:

I think all students should feel like they’re doing well in school. A lot of kids fall behind and feel like they just can’t catch up and I think that stops now. If they feel like they’re just falling behind, they should start to work harder, study every night, etc. Flash cards are a great way for that to happen. They make it quick and easy to practice. Even grade school reflects on your future and you probably don’t want to mess that up.

Dreams for Schools – Sam H

Our Middle School
I have noticed that the trashes have been overfilling, and litter on the floor around them. My dream is that the middle-schoolers throw out their trash in an appropriate trash can. Littering not only makes the school look bad but it gives the cleaning people a harder job. Some ideas I have of how to fix this is that the teachers and students can work together and combine ideas. We might even need more trash cans.

Worldwide Schools
My dream for worldwide schools is to have a proper homework system. I think separate schools should have a homework limit. I have noticed, and friends have told me that when a teacher gives a huge assignment due the next day, another teacher would do the same and overflow with homework. I think teachers need to talk to each other and know what they are assigning to their students.
