Mini-Memphis diary

Challenge 1 activity 5
Day 1 An explanation
Hello diary! My name is Minnie-Memphis and I am here to talk to you about the Land of Smalls. I live in the tiny town of Smallville. In Smallville, everyone is a mini. If you do not know what a mini is then I will tell you. For starters there are two types of worlds – the land of the Bigs and the land of the Smalls. Everyone in the land of Bigs has a smaller version of themselves in the land of Smalls; I am a smaller version of a boy named Memphis. Do you get it now? I hope you do.

Day 2 About me
Hi diary! I’m back. So where did we leave off last time? Oh yeah, I just finished explaining the land of the Smalls and the land of the Bigs. So now that I finished explaining that I will talk about me.
First, I will tell you what I look like. I have really messy long black hair and brown eyes and brown skin. I love pizza. Now I don’t just love pizza. I live for pizza. Pizza is my life because it is the best thing in the world. I also have some charming qualities and some not so charming qualities. Some of my charming qualities include: I’m smart funny and easy to talk to. Some of my not so charming qualities include: I have a huge ego and I always take the lead so I am kind of bossy. Oh I have to go to bed know.

Challenge number 1 Activity 2

Hi! I am Josephine. I’m 11 years old go and to PDS. This is my first year here as I just moved back from Ireland and had lived there for 6 ½ years It is only my second year living her even though I have lived here before. In PDS we do a lot of fun stuff and and right now we are doing challenges. I chose to do the “All about me page”

My mom’s American and my dad’s Irish and since I was two I lived in America, but when I was three I moved to Ireland. I went to a school called Saint Mathias. It was a good size school but then everybody left for high school and to different schools and places .The last time I heard there was only eight people in the school, so now it is tiny. When I lived there I went to that school and we came to America every summer.

Then we moved here and I went to Chancellor Livingston for 4th and 5th grade then I started going to PDS. So far I really like being here and I am enjoying doing all these challenges and I hope you enjoyed my post. So I have been living in New York, I have enjoyed doing a lot of pleasant stuff.  I enjoy horse back riding, going to fairs, swimming and a lot of other really exciting stuff. That is some of the many things I like to do here in NY.

Hello, my name is Rich.  I am a sixth grade student at Poughkeepsie Day school .  I live in Poughkeepsie, NY in the USA.

I enjoy building with Legos, playing tennis and playing squash. I have been playing tennis since I was 3 years old. I like swimming, skiing in Vermont, mountain biking and hiking.  I enjoy going to the beach kayaking and boating in the ocean.  I like learning about the American Revolutionary War, Civil War and World War II . I also love listening to music a lot.

Edublogs challenge 1

Hello. My name is Nachman. I’m in 6th grade at Poughkeepsie Day School. I live in the town of Poughkeepsie, in the state of New York. I like to travel, and every summer I go to visit my grandparents in India. I was actually born in England, but my family moved to America when I was one year old. When I go to India, we sometimes stop over in other countries along the way. So, this past summer I got to visit Japan because I was flying to India from the west coast of America, as I spent the first part of the summer in Tahoe, California. I loved it in Japan! I really enjoyed trying the new food and seeing and doing  new things! I stayed up one night and went to a communal bath in Kyoto and was surprised to see how busy it was at 10 p.m.! At one point, I went into an electrified bath, and got the shock of my life! I also had fun  exploring a bullet train, even as it sped along at 200 mph.

I also like to play soccer and squash. I play “travel” team soccer, for my town – which means that my team has to travel to other towns to play. In other words, I don’t get much of a break on Sundays because I have to go to my games. I also plan to play soccer for PDS. I don’t play squash seriously, although I enjoy playing with my friends.

In school, I enjoy arts classes. I have an outdoor drawing class, an Imovies class, and an art with technology class, all of which I look forward to. I really like to read. Some of my favorite series are: Artemis Fowl, The Hunger Games, and Alex Rider. Right now I’m thinking about reading a book called Gone, which a friend of mine showed me. I also play the piano.
